Seoul is garnering attention as a "hot destination" in Asia with its fashion and style scenes. K-Style Lab was at Hera Seoul Fashion Week FW 2017 and here's part two of our best picks, following the first list we shared last week.

Bluish aura
Blue in winter is fresher and more charismatic than the palettes you will see in the summer. The color wields enough power to engulf the bleak air. NOHKE's cobalt blue coat strikes a stark contrast with a black outfit, making the most of its cool flair. Eye-catching details on the fluid cuffs and cinched sash adds an extra flair of hip to this look.

Novel classic Dandy
BLINDNESS' jacket sticks out handsomely with a periodic elegance, a modern outfit for an 18th century Countess. Buttons dazzle and complete the embellished beauty, a witty take on showiness. You simply can't resist a romantic look showcased in a way as chic as this.

Sailor suit
The classic naval uniform meets a suit in this piece, offering a very feminine beauty with youthful sensibility. Tailored to show a single button and matched with a mermaid-hemmed skirt, the short-sleeved combination is an epitome of sohistication. Add a pair of long gloves and the elegance level will be taken up another notch. YCH's marine-themed skirt-suit looks back at the silhouette of the 1940s. It's fashion's version to a LaSalle convertible cruising along the coast on a weekend.

Gorgeous military
Calling all fashionistas! Don't miss out on this sweater from YOHANIX, featuring the face of a soldier. Instead of a print, the face is woven onto the piece, giving it a plush feel. Flowers and leaves found their way into the pattern, sewn seamlessly into the piece. This is a great piece merging street fashion and delicate, unique designs.

Check out these checks!
It's time to check out this classic pattern again. Checks could be everywhere and we're getting tired of it, but PUSHBUTTON's outdone the crowd with its checkered suit. The piece offers partial plaids, a front closure of the pants and an oversized silhouette. A charming combination, the blouse on the model - showing a criss-cross of fabric at the front - is demonstrative of the styling panache of the designer.

Having studied fashion design (stylism) at ESMOD (École supérieure des arts et techniques de la mode) in Paris, EJ believes that personal style is more important than trends when it comes to fashion. Her career in fashion journalism began at the Korean branches of Elle and Marie Claire as fashion director; she later became editor-in-chief for Madame Figaro Korea. She then moved to CHANEL Korea and was in charge of communications. EJ is presently based in Hong Kong with her husband, and she has started a new venture to introduce Premium Korean fashion designers to the Hong Kong audience through a pop-up store (K-Style Lab) in Causeway Bay.
